asm226 dreamslayer image recognition aerospace missile


this aerospace missile is designed for my sf-58 hornet space superiority fighter, but it can be used in other rendering projects, even with modern day atmospheric jet fighters.

it resembles somewhat to an real agm65 maverick missile, and i indeed used reference photos of the maverick, but tried to alter them in many aspects. the asm226 is longer, and has tilted stabilizators on the back, and markings are completely different from the original. however, if you want to use it as a basis, it is very easy to revert it back to an agm65.

the model is developed in lightwave 9.6. therefore there are two lwo variants, a procedural one and a uv mapped. the procedural is smaller in size, therefore more suitable for large stills or animations and can be modified easily.

the 3ds and obj versions were converted by deep exploration 5.5 from the uv mapped lwo variant. if using the uv mapped object for games, scale down the large 6000x6000 pixel uv map to a reasonable size.


note: lau missile mounting hardpoint, and missile holders are not included in this package, this is just the missile itself. if you want them, just email me.
