Ghost in the Shell Artwork and practicality of printing.

Ball joint articulated hips, knees, eyes, shoulder, elbow, claw, feet, model is also fully scalable on plate.

Created with Solid modelling, .STEP format provided as well as .3mf .pdf exploded assembly drawings included.

Model files include extras: Tachikoma leg with wheel, Tachikoma leg with stripes (makes painting easier), Tachikoma Leg with Wheels and Stripes, Tachikoma Mini-Gun, Tachikoma Chainsaw (for landscape gardener variant), Tachikoma Fan, Various books, alternate left claw, upper leg articulation with armour attached, Tachikoma Power Pack Body, multiple posed claws.

Model can be finished in multiple ways: raw 3d print material, multicolour 3d printing, print is raw material colour then paint details, fully painted (no so good if you want to move joint positions after painting)

Printing in PLA Glow makes for a tachikoma closer to the cloud AI Tachikoma cyber warriors featured in GITS SAC 2nd GIG
I used sanding then a gloss top coat in my example models, which gave a nice shine.

Printing the claws can be tricky, I would recommend always printing separately.

If ball joints are too tight to pop together, then sand outer edge of female, if too tight to rotate but in position then sand/polish male (if a joint is tight, you can often move it around gently until it loosens up), if ball is too loose in socket apply some spray on top coat/varnish to inside female section.
