Longchamp is the largest hippodrome in Paris and France. Occupies 50 hectares of the Bois de Boulogne. One of the few racecourses located on a hill, which creates additional difficulties for jockeys. More than half of France's smooth racing takes place at the Paris Hippodrome. The stands can accommodate 50,000 spectators.
