It is based on the Soviet-era Tupolev Tu-16 bomber design and has been in service with the Chinese People's Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) since the 1950s.The Xian H-6K is a modernized variant of the H-6 bomber that features improved avionics, upgraded engines, and enhanced capabilities for carrying and delivering various types of weapons, including strategic strike weapons.
