E-Soul (Chinese: 老魂电 Lǎo hún diàn) is the primary antagonist of the To Be Hero X donghua series' second arc. Formerly the ninth-ranked hero, his Trust got gradually syphoned off when Yang Cheng began using his name. Despite attempting to stay neutral, this eventually resulted in him coming to blows with his replacement.

E-Soul wears blue and black bulky armor and is almost never seen without it. Underneath, he's a muscular man with many scars all over his body. His right arm is revealed to be cut off, and he hides it with a prosthetic under his armor.

E-Soul was a composed and stoic individual who spoke in a rather serious and nonchalant tone. Unlike most heroes, he did not care about popularity and focuses solely on his duties. Because of this, whenever not forced to attend a press conference, he was either fighting crime or training.

Due to his stoic demeanor, E-Soul had difficulty interacting with others. He rarely made public appearances, having his manager write his speeches when he did, and refused to change his slogen to fit with the times. Despite his dissociation from his followers, E-Soul initially dismissed concerns about Yang Cheng usurping his identity, claiming there was only one E-Soul. It was only when Yang Cheng had already absorbed his a large portion of his fan base that he finally began to take the boy seriously.
