A boy and his grandfather, while sea fishing, take out a sealed jug from their net, from which a sea king appears. He forcibly takes the boy to the underwater kingdom with the goal of making him a student and heir, marrying his daughter. The boy does not want to sink ships with people for the rest of his life, although this promises him wealth. Pretending to agree to the sea king's proposal, he tricks him into getting back into the jug, after which he finds himself back in the boat with his grandfather, and the jug is thrown back into the sea. The jug ends up in an aquarium on the seabed and remains there.
