The W50 was equipped with a crew cab for use by work teams. The vehicle design consists of a ten-seater cabin and a platform. The Bautrupp-Wagen (BTP) also met the requirements in the field and could also be used there with an all-wheel drive chassis and low-pressure tires. It was used in post and telecommunications, in the energy industry and as a rescue vehicle.
The TB Berlin vehicles in their typical blue were an integral part of the cityscape.
