The WG 0016 - disc harrow is a mounted compact disc harrow specifically developed for shallow soil cultivation, rapid crop residue incorporation, and efficient field renovation on light and medium-textured soils. Designed for compact and medium-sized farming operations, it provides an economical and reliable solution for post-harvest cultivation and the termination of unsuccessful crops.
Equipped with 560 mm serrated discs mounted on rigid maintenance-free disc arms, the machine delivers aggressive cutting action while maintaining a simple, durable, and highly reliable construction. The rigid mounting system provides excellent stability and precise disc positioning, making the implement particularly effective under lighter soil conditions.
A generous 1000 mm spacing between the front and rear disc rows ensures outstanding residue flow and minimises the risk of blockages, even when working with high volumes of crop residues. The open frame design promotes efficient soil mixing and uniform incorporation of plant material while maintaining smooth field operation.
The WG 0016 is primarily intended for shallow post-harvest cultivation, stale seedbed preparation, and the rapid incorporation of failed crops or cover crops prior to establishing the next crop. By accelerating residue decomposition and creating a level cultivated surface, the implement helps improve field preparation while reducing the number of required field passes.
