3DExport is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our 3D team—the industry’s leading marketplace for high-quality 3D models used in film, gaming, architecture, advertising, and beyond.

You’ll work alongside a team of talented engineers to tackle complex, large-scale challenges that support one of the world’s most trusted 3D content platforms. We emphasize quality, reliability, and scalability in everything we build, and we promote a culture of peer review, shared learning, and strong customer focus. Our systems are designed to empower artists to publish their work easily and help customers discover exceptional 3D content effortlessly.

What You’ll Do

• Continuously enhance the 3DExport marketplace experience using a data-driven approach.

• Contribute to architectural decisions and help shape the technical and product direction of our 3D initiatives.

• Design and build reliable, maintainable, and well-tested systems that scale over time.

• Collaborate closely with teammates through code reviews, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.

• Monitor, analyze, and optimize production performance to ensure speed and reliability for millions of users.

What You’ll Bring

• Strong experience as a full-stack engineer.

• Advanced expertise with Ruby on Rails.

• Familiarity with modern web development frameworks and best practices.

• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.

• Proficiency with Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration.

• A proactive, self-driven mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and mentorship skills, including experience providing constructive pull-request feedback.

• A solid foundation in automated testing and unit testing methodologies.

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of technical SEO and web performance optimization.

• Experience with Stimulus, Turbo, and Tailwind CSS.

• Familiarity with TypeScript, JSON:API, or GraphQL.

• Experience deploying to or managing AWS infrastructure.

• Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with event-driven architectures using tools like RabbitMQ or Kafka.
