- there are 3 types of model in maya scene:

1. low poly version : 1824 faces, 1790 verts

2. mid poly version1 : 5452 faces, 5454 verts

3. mid poly version2 : 20.168 faces, 20.170 verts

- maya project has its own texture files in sourceimages folder.

- clean maya outliner and history

- models also have uv maps of their own.
