celeste chair plays with contrasting shapes, materials and textures. the circles and squares join to make a chair that has both substance and lightness. the frame is made from galvanised steel, the seat is dramatically transected by the large circular back, which is made from verdigris patinated copper, sandwiched on top of aluminium sheet. both seat and back feature upholstered circular kvadrat wool fabric cushions.
