Tatra V 855 was a prototype of motor sleds / aerosans based on the Tatra 87 passenger car, manufactured by Tatra in Koprivnica in 1942. Two pieces of aerosols were ordered by the German Wehrmacht command for the expected deployment to the Eastern Front, but the production of the second piece did not occur and only one prototype remained. The Tatra V 855 was powered by an air-cooled eight-cylinder do V with OHC distribution from the Type 87 with a volume of 2968 cm3 and a power of 55 kW (75 hp). It is not known that the prototype of the motor sleds from the Tatra Technical Museum in Kopřivnice was ever in operation
