I came from an engineering background serving a six year apprenticeship, later advancing to computer aided engineering and drawing. In the mid eighties I came out of engineering and studied music and conventional photography at the Rotherham College Art and Technology. I started painting for a living in 1996 and later combined it with supply teaching assistant work in many of the local primary schools in the Rotherham area. Although I have worked mainly in traditional mediums over the years! I then transitioned into digital, and now hope to work in 3D!
