1. The Golden Throne of Tutankhamun is an extraordinary artifact that exemplifies the artistry of ancient Egypt. It is celebrated as one of the most significant and well-preserved pieces of furniture from this ancient civilization. Its vivid hues have withstood the test of time for over three thousand years, showcasing the remarkable skill of the artisans of that era.

This lavish chair is distinguished by its elaborate craftsmanship and intricate details. Unearthed in 1922 by British archaeologist Howard Carter, the golden throne was located beneath a hippopotamus funerary bed in the antechamber of Tutankhamun's tomb.

In Egyptian hieroglyphs, it is referred to as (Ist), named after the mother goddess Isis. The throne is constructed from wood and is lavishly covered with gold and silver, further enhanced by semi-precious stones and colored glass.
