In Vienna, a stone vase stands at the entrance to the House of Butterflies. The base under it is decorated with a lion's head.
At one time, scientists made a 3D scan of this bas-relief and placed it on the Myminifactory resource, where there are many digitized historical and cultural rarities.
The idea arose to use this scan to make a jewelry 3D cameo.
After a long and careful preparation, it was possible to create a cameo in 3D format. The volume, dimensions and shape were given and the cameo became suitable for further processing on CNC machines. It can be made from tusk (walrus, elephant, mammoth), amber, valuable hard woods or from modern modified materials imitating natural ones.
Later, a frame was designed for the cameo. With its use, you can make a pendant, a brooch, a ring and even earrings.
