1. King Tutankhamun Egyptian Sarcophagus 3D Printable Model
Model formats: STL. All elements are provided in a single STL file to ensure a 1:1 scale for printing as required.
The sarcophagus of Tutankhamun consisted of three coffins intended to house the remains of the king. The outer two coffins were expertly crafted from wood and adorned with gold, along with an array of semiprecious stones, including lapis lazuli and turquoise. In contrast, the innermost coffin was made entirely of solid gold. However, when Howard Carter initially discovered this coffin, it did not possess the brilliant golden luster it currently displays at the Egyptian Museum. Carter's excavation documentation reveals that the coffin was covered in a thick, tar-like substance that enveloped it from the hands to the ankles. This substance was likely a ceremonial anointing liquid that had been lavishly applied during the burial rituals.
