varonoi lamp 3D Modell

this lampshade was made with the inspiration of japanese paper lamps. it consists of seven parts in total. the lampshade itself, the diffuser which is optional, one mounting ring and three pins (print them on their sides). the pins have been made with an angle so to lower the lampshade a bit. the only thing needed to assemble this lampshade is the parts, though some sandpaper and a knife is always good to make the parts come together nicely.


the lampshade measures 20 cm in diameter and a height of 15 cm. al of the components are designed with small tolerances which can make it hard to scale down, but i guess that everything is possible with some sandpaper.

the diffuser is optional and printed separately in “vase mode” with no top or bottom layers. if done correctly it should be quite flexible. you will need this flex to be able to mount it inside of the lampshade, it's a snug fit and is meant to be so. feel free to put some nice and colorful silk paper in between!

this print requires quite a big print area of at least 200x200x150 mm and i haven’t found any good way of dividing the lampshade in a good way. if there are enough of an interest i might do another that can be assembled or one with a smaller diameter Druckfertige: Nein
