It often happened to me that printing stopped because the filament no longer came out of the hotend. There can be many causes, including extruder malfunction.
Hence the idea of having one that allows you to see how the mechanism works, whether it is blocked, whether the filament has dug in, whether the screw has been tightened enough, etc. It is also useful for checking the correct retraction movement and speed.
So I reproduced an extruder cover of my Creality Ender 5 s1 printer that allows you to see through.
It is possible to print it with a transparent material, or simply see through the holes I created in the points less subject to stress.
Being a part subject to wear and a minimum of heat, it is preferable to print it in PETG or ABS.
I'm currently testing it with a clear PETG filament and it's working great.

In the file you will find two versions, one "soft" with less perforation, the other "extreme" with more perforation.
The metal inserts, if you need them, can be inserted in the lower part.
To mount the upper spout you will not need the insert.
