Kinta Sakata is a major character in the supernatural comedy manga and anime series Dandadan.

Kinta is a chubby teenage boy with short brown hair divided from the middle, black eyes, and a big nose. He wears a pair of grey and orange-colored half-trimmed glasses. At school, he wears the standard traditional Japanese gakuran male student outfit. Outside of school, he often wears an orange short with golden and blue lines over the sleeves.

Kinta is a arrogant and nonchalant, and attention-seeking young man who masks his insecurities with A bravado demeanor. He dismisses others and craves recognition, often conducting as cool and making excuses for failures. Beneath his façade, he seese his limitations and seeks validation to hide his self-doubt. Kinta dreams of impressing girls but misreads social interactions, showing a perverted side at times. He has a deep passion for mechas that drives him to collect figurines and even prepares for a chance to pilot a real one. When the opportunity arose, he used his knowledge to build a mecha, achieving his dream during a crucial battle and feeling genuine joy.
