the following product is ready to print and can be used as prototype for cotter joint.
the following model is designed on the basis of analysis of various stresses and strain induced on the joint during the application of an axial load.
the dimensions of the joint is according to the application 50kn of axial load at the ends of the rods (tensile in nature)
material considered in design is carbon steel of grade 30cg according data book
(psg pg 1.11).
the prototype can be manufactured using a 3d printer.
