A detailed 1:1 scale 3D-printable display model of the Duplet, inspired by its appearance in the Metro game series.

The model was recreated from scratch and designed specifically for FDM printing. It is divided into multiple parts for practical printing, assembly, and finishing while preserving the distinctive appearance and mechanical character of the in-game design.

The guide includes part identification, assembly instructions, optional components, and additional recommendations. Clearances between mating and moving parts are built into the geometry and generally range from 0.2 to 0.6 mm, depending on the connection and intended movement. Actual fit may vary depending on printer calibration, material, extrusion settings, and part orientation. Minor sanding or fitting may be required. Test-fitting is recommended before final assembly or gluing. Please review the included PDF assembly guide before printing and assembly.

Optional magnets: Magnets can be used in some parts of the assembly to improve the feel and interaction of the finished model. Their use is entirely optional, and the model can be assembled and used as intended without them.

Optional springs: Springs can be added to selected moving parts for a more authentic mechanical feel. Their use is entirely optional, and the model can be assembled without them.
