facaro’s latest series, connect features traditional style chandeliers made from upcycled bicycle parts. caro looks at chandeliers as a symbol of opulence. the contrast of classic elegance and mechanical bike parts is visually interesting and also questions an object previously associated with wealth and power.

each bicycle chain chandelier is unique. caro hand makes each piece beginning with sourcing the bicycle parts from junk yards around los angeles, to cleaning the pieces to hand assembling the chandelier during the 2-8 week production process. Stampa Pronta: No
