The Xolo hairless dog, also known as the Xoloitzcuintli hairless dog, or the Xolo dog (Mexican: zoʊloʊ.iːtsˈkwiːntli/ ZOH-loh-eets-KWEENT-lee) is a breed of dog originating from Central America in Mexico, not only strange because of its hairless skin but also because of its long neck, bat ears, round eyes and greasy body. They have existed for a long time and originated in Mexico. The Xolo dog was even considered a sacred animal by the ancient Aztecs. Because this dog is not purebred, the Xolo dog is healthier than other normal dogs. However, this dog must always avoid sunlight and needs to be bathed regularly to avoid sunburn or boils.
