The pancreas in diabetes shows microscopical changes as depicted in this model. The detailed anatomy of pancreas including exocrine glandular and ductal flow of exocrine pancreatic and biliary secretion is outlined with labels.
The endocrine pancreas (islets) with its cell type ( alpha, beta, F cell and delta cell) and its secretions (glucagon, insulin, Pancreatic polypeptide and ****tostatin respectively) is shown with labels. These are compared side by side for a normal and diabetic islets.
The blender file has most of the modifiers applied except the particle modifier for lymphocyte.
