I'm thrilled to share my latest project, a 3D fan model inspired by the Chained Door from Silent Hill 4: The Room. As a long-time fan of the Silent Hill series, I've always been captivated by its haunting atmosphere and intricate design elements. This project is a tribute to the chilling ambiance of the game and my personal interpretation of the iconic chained door.

How I Made It:
Conceptualization:
I began with a detailed analysis of the door's design, focusing on scenes from Silent Hill 4: The Room where the door is prominently featured. I gathered reference images and took extensive notes to understand its structure and the eerie impact of the chains and surrounding elements.

Modeling:
Using 3DsMax, I meticulously modeled each component of the door, ensuring the geometry accurately captured the door's distressed and chained appearance. The modeling process involved creating the base structure, simulating the chain effects, and adding elements of decay and damage to reflect the door's worn state.



Texturing:
To give the model a realistic and spooky appearance, I applied detailed PBR textures and materials. I focused on the weathered wood, rusted chains, and cracked surfaces. I designed and painted my own textures in Photoshop, emphasizing the worn and haunted look. I prefer creating my textures manually and do not use Substance Painter for this
