the texture is 1024x1024 .png

in the archives you will find the model + the texture and the uv map layout

the sword in overall is one object with one texture map and three materials applied to polys.

the initial object is low poly, then subdivided to get smooth look.

rendered in blender renderer and in mitsuba renderer

total polygons: 1687
total vertices : 1689

if you work on blender you can cancel the subdivision modifier (select object then go to modifiers panel you will find subdivision/ click cancel)
to get a low poly model (about 400 vertices)

but i don't know if you can do it in other softwares because this model was done in blender.

there are three materials applied to the same object all reflecting the same texture but with different diffuse and specularity and reflection

so you can modify it in material panel in blender, but i have no idea if it is possible in other softwares.

uv map:

the uwrapings of the grip two symmetrical pieces are superimosed for symmetry reasons, the blame also.

there are two textures, the default one made in image editor gimp, the second one is baked from the final model and is much clean.

the grip is supposed to be crafted from leathe and so it must not be specular.

so in very low lights it appears close to black, if you want to change this just increase specularity and decrease shading in "leather" material 印刷　準備: いいえ
