many people ask why this alien is dull grey and has the smooth head when the sequel aliens have a dark brown skin with a ribbed head. apart form james cameron completely gate crashing the franchise with 'aliens' he changed a lot, especially the design of the alien creatures. it was mainly left to the fans to explain the changes. the aliens with the ribbed head and brown skin are exactly the same as the grey alien with the smooth domes, however the brown ribbed aliens are actually older mature aliens and at their final lifecycle. the grey smooth domed aliens are young drones and not fully matured. just a little bit of useless alien fan trivia for you

this is a fully rigged xenomorph drone alien. a particle system is added to the aliens mouth to create a 'dribble' effect. a chin dribble object is also added. it is rigged with a biped you must read the supplied readme file on how to animate. you can also purchase the alien warrior model, facehugger model or buy the complete megapack.
