The Siberian Husky (also known as the Siberian Husky) is a medium-sized sled dog breed originating from northeastern Siberia, Russia. Genetically, the Husky is classified as a Spitz. The Husky has a thick double coat, erect triangular ears, and often has different identifying marks on its fur. The Husky is a very active dog breed because its ancestors lived in one of the coldest places, Siberia, where the original Husky was bred by the Chukchi people in Northeast Asia for the purpose of pulling sleds over long distances in harsh cold conditions. This breed was brought to Alaska during the Nome gold rush and later became popular in the United States and Canada. Initially, the Husky was raised as a sled dog but later became a family pet.
