Description
The Airbus A320 is a family of twin-engine turbofan narrow-body aircraft developed and manufactured by Airbus. The manufacturer offers the A318, A319, A320 and A321 variants, in addition to a range of executive aircraft. Final assembly of the aircraft is carried out in Toulouse, France, and Hamburg, Germany. Since 2009, a plant in Tianjin, China, has also been involved in the production of aircraft for Chinese airlines, and since 2016, a plant in Mobile, Alabama, has been involved in the production of aircraft for North American airlines. The aircraft can accommodate up to 220 passengers and have a range of 3,100 to 12,000 kilometers (1,700 to 6,500 nautical miles).
