the m1903 springfield is a bolt-action rifle adopted by the us military in the first decade of the 20th century. towards the end of the 19th century, the united states possessed nothing but the troublesome, heavy, and unnecessarily large springfield model 1892-99

the thompson is an american submachine, designed by john taliaferro thompson in 1919, which gained a bad name during the prohi***ion era. it was seen regularly in the media at the time, as it was used by law enforcement officials and criminals alike. the thompson was also informally known by the nicknames "tommy", "trench broom", "trench sweeper "," chicago typewriter "," piano chicago "," chicago style "or" the chopper ".
