Noravank is an Armenian Apostolic monastery complex located 3 km southeast of the village of Amaghu in the Areni community of the Vayots Dzor region. It was built in the 13th-14th centuries. According to Stepanos Orbelyan, it has been a holy place since the early Middle Ages.
