Their main prey is Thomson's gazelle.

The cheetah is one of the cats most at risk of disappearing since its numbers have been reduced by more than 50% in the last twenty-five years and its habitat has disappeared by 90%. In the year 2020 it was estimated that there were less than 7,000 cheetahs left in the wild.
