Description
Arknights Eyjafjalla's spear. It is a highly detailed model that is designed for 3D printing. All details are engraves or reliefs. Perfect for Eyjafjalla Cosplay.
--Dimensions—
The spear has 145cm length. There is a 5mm diameter x 90cm length rod slot inside of it. It's essential to keep the spear rigid by using a steel rod.
--Assembling—
There is a "how to assemble" guide video between the files. You have 2 options while assembling the prop. First one is simply gluing everything and making the spear one single rigid piece. Other option is you can use it modular by using 5mm diameter x 2mm thickness magnets (you'll need 16 of them). There is 2 different magnet sections on the prop, you can clearly see it on assembling guide video. Instead of gluing everthing, just using magnets on 2 section, you can assemble and dissassemble the spear into 3 parts. Thanks to that, it'll be easier to carry it.
Don't forget to use a strong glue while assembling the parts
There is 0.5mm tolerance gap between sockets and plugs. İf you use a standart FDM 3D Printer with 0.4mm nozzle, it should be perfect fit. If it's a little loose, don’t worry. The main task of the plugs is to keep them stable
and correctly oriented while you are pasting the parts.
--Recommended Printing Options--
I suggest that you have done tolerance and flow rate tests on your 3d printer before you start printing the model. I recommend minimum 3 walls and 20% or more infill rate for all parts. It is a thin and huge print and it costs probably 700gr+ material in total , we don't want it to be fragile. If the plugs and sockets have difficulties or do not enter each other, you could adjust your flow rate or could choose " exclusive " on slicing tolerance option
