this is a 3d model i made in 3ds max, it uses a highly textured image which gives the earth model an excelent picture. the image i used is a 6400 x 3200.
when rendered, this model gives a nice picture of the earth, which also has the bump effect. that gives depth to the oceans and higth to the mountains.
