Tatsuomi Asao (麻尾 達臣, Asao Tatsuomi) is the home tutor of Yuna Mizuki and the latest member of the Zyunishi Doumei who transforms into Kamen Rider Rid.

Tatsuomi Asao met Sora Otosumi while the latter was tracking down a Tsubasa Fukashigi, although Tatsuomi intended to ask Sora for information because he had mentioned the word Fukashigi, Sora used the bright light in the sky as an excuse to divert Tatsuomi's attention and escaped in the confusion.

Afterwards, Sora returned to the same location again to investigate the whereabouts of Fukashigi, and he encountered Tatsuomi once more. Tatsuomi had just rescued a couple from Tsubasa Fukashigi. This Fukashigi then took Sora and Tatsuomi as targets and captured them. After the two were taken by it, Sora saves them by transforming into Kamen Rider My-Th in front of Tatsuomi. After returning to the Zyunishi Doumei, Tatsuomi reports what he learned to Kamuri Minetaka, who then assigns Tatsuomi an undercover job at the Mizuki household. To that end, Tatsuomi poses as Yuna Mizuki's tutor. Although he was officially hired as Yuna's tutor, he also serves as an external advisor to the Society of Inexplicable Incident Investigators that Yuna founded.
