The Shetland Sheepdog , sometimes known as the Sheltie , is a breed of sheepdog . They are small to medium-sized dogs, and come in a variety of colors, such as sable, tricolor, and blue. The breed is partly derived from dogs used in the Shetland Islands for herding and guarding sheep.
