The Shchuka-class submarines (Russian: Щука, meaning "Pike") were a series of Soviet diesel-electric attack submarines developed and built during the Cold War. They were designated as Project 613 by the Soviet Union and were one of the most widely produced submarine classes in history, with over 200 units constructed. These submarines played a significant role in the Soviet Navy and were also exported to various allied countries
