Description
👤 Head
An aggressive, crown-like skull is formed from a cluster of thick, weathered bark plates that flair upward into sharp, jagged peaks. The face is entirely faceless and mouthless, tapering forward into a split, stylized avian beak or hollow chevron visage. Deeply recessed, shadowed grooves hint at hidden sensory points, melting down into a thick, heavily knotted neck column composed of twisted wood grain.
🛡️ Body Structure
Torso: A powerful, athletic chassis entirely constructed from massive, interwoven tree roots and thick vines. The chest and abdominal muscles are defined by heavily spiraled, organic timber cables that wrap tightly around each other, forming a dense wooden armor plating. Sharp, branch-like spikes erupt aggressively from the tops of the shoulders, breaking up the silhouette.
Arms: The shoulders flow into muscular upper limbs made of vertical, twisted wood slats. The forearms are heavily encrusted in dense, bark-scaled ridges that flare backward near the elbows and wrists for structural defense. The hands are massive, wooden claws with thick, jointed, and bark-wrapped fingers ending in sharp, predatory root tips.
Legs: Long, pillar-like legs are built from massive, vertical root columns twisting together like heavy ropes to simulate biological muscle mass. The knees feature sharp, overlapping bark plates, while the lower calves flare outward as they near the ground. The feet flatten into sprawling, multi-pronged root structures that look capable of anchoring firmly into the earth.
Back: A rigid, defensive carapace of interlocking wooden plates arches along the spine in a downward V-shaped pattern. A dense, dangerous ridge of jagged branch shards and splintered bark runs between the shoulder blades, creating a thorny, heavily fortified rear profile.
✨ Material and Finish
The entity is forged from dark, highly weathered, ash-grey timber and petrified oak. The entire surface features a highly detailed, rough, and deeply pitted bark texture with parallel wood-grain patterns running down every strand. The finish is completely matte, with deep, ink-black shadows pooling inside the hollow recesses and tangled gaps of the wooden anatomy, emphasizing its ancient, haunted forest nature.
(Make sure to check if there are problems with the manifold edges. Most 3D printing apps will have an option to auto-fix them, but it's also preferable to load them in a viewer for additional checks.
There will usually be a few leftover non-printable polygons that generally don't interfere with the main model when removed, although depending on the removal method, it might discard the model's texture in order to fix it.
The model has an extent between -1 and 1; you can customize its size and modify it freely. You can also reduce or increase the polygon count alongside the vertices using any app based on your specific needs.
The model doesn't contain any pre-baked or built-in support structures, so it will require manual or automated support generating with the help of slicing software in order to print correctly.
The colors may turn out a bit different from the original ones seen in the images, depending on the printer used and how it's printed.
The polygon count can be a bit more or less than the described amount depending on where it's loaded and what file will be used for the printer.
The zip contains STL, 3MF, OBJ, DXF, and file formats.
The 3mf has the most accurate interpretation of the base model and is preferable when printing.)
