Anyone know how to repair a 3D model export from 3D scanner?

I'm a mechanical engineer and I need to do reverse engineering with the 3D scanner. But the models always have some defects on them. So I need to repair the models. The software provided by 3D scanner firms only can do a little simple modified work.

So, who knows which software can do this work well? Delete the error panels.

Well, most of the major software packages i'd presume... however if you expect mechanical precision as a result don't expect any magical button style solutions, but manual work done painstakingly. Maybe that's a bit of a dramatization, i have no idea of how complex stuff you do scans of. Maybe i could offer my assistance for a fee?

That's a great question! I've run into similar issues before. The best place to start is usually with a dedicated mesh editing software. Programs like Meshmixer (which is free) or Blender have some really powerful tools for filling holes, smoothing surfaces, and simplifying complex meshes. You'd want to look into their "Inspector" or "make manifold" functions to start. Good luck! google baseball

The ‘addiction’ of Geometry Dash comes from the feeling of ‘explosion’ when you pass a level that you have ‘died and come back to life’ hundreds of times. It requires terrible ‘patience’, but the results are ‘worth it.
