here we have a detailed model of a navy 36 pounder iron naval cannon.
installed on the lower deck of the larger warships, the 36-pounder long was the largest calibre used in the navy of the age of the sail. a 36-pounder required a 14-man crew, comprising one chiefner, 12ners and one powder-boy.
