Description
👤 Head
A perfectly spherical, old-world diving helmet dominates the head, completely replacing any organic facial features. The metallic sphere features a singular, central circular viewport guarded by thick, vertical iron bars. The window remains pitch-black and hollow, omitting any eyes or signs of life within, leaving the creature with a cold, expressionless, and mechanical gaze.
🛡️ Body Structure
Torso: A hyper-lean, athletic humanoid torso defined by deeply striated, corded muscle groups that resemble waterlogged fibers or stretched leather. A prominent, vertical stitched seam or bony ridge cuts directly down the center of the chest and abdomen, giving the torso a segmented, skin-tight appearance.
Arms: Elongated, spindly upper limbs with prominent shoulder musculature that tapers down into thin forearms. The hands flare out dramatically into massive, webbed aquatic talons. Thick, skin-like membranes stretch between five long, skeletal fingers that terminate in sharp, curved claws built for swimming and slashing.
Legs: Long, muscular legs featuring tightly contoured thighs that transition into scaled or heavily textured calves. The limbs mimic the digitigrade anatomy of predatory amphibians, cascading down into massive, flat, webbed feet tipped with powerful claws designed to grip slick ocean floors or propel through deep water.
Back: A streamlined, sleek back profile with subtle, blade-like shoulder blade ridges, keeping the character's silhouette aerodynamic, hydrodynamic, and predatory.
✨ Material and Finish
The entity is cast in a deeply dark, monochromatic palette of oil-slicked charcoal, wet silt, and tarnished bronze. The skin textures alternate between matte, coarse fabric-like striations and a glistening, wet finish that looks perpetually soaked in deep-ocean brine. Deep, absolute shadows pool heavily within the vertical chest seam and behind the helmet's iron grate, making the smooth curve of the helmet the striking focal point.
(Make sure to check and see if there are any problems with the main model before printing. Most 3D printing apps will have an option to auto-fix them, if there are any, but it's also preferable to load it in a viewer or an app like blender for additional checks.
Depending on the format used there may be a few leftover non-printable polygons, but they generally don't interfere with the main model when removed, although some removal methods might discard the model's texture in order to fix it.
The thickness of the walls in the model can be adjusted automatically using a slicing or editing software if required by the printer and the chosen method.
The model has an extent between -1 and 1; you can customize its size and modify it freely. You can also reduce or increase the polygon count alongside the vertices using any app based on your specific needs.
The model doesn't contain any pre-baked or built-in support structures, so it will require manual or automated support generating with the help of slicing software in order to print correctly.
The colors may turn out a bit different from the original ones seen in the images, depending on the printer used and how it's printed.
The polygon count can be a bit more or less than the described amount depending on where it's loaded for viewing and what file will be used for the printer.
The zip contains STL, 3MF, OBJ, BLEND, FBX, USDZ, GLB file formats.
The 3mf has the most accurate interpretation of the base model and is preferable when printing.)
