Description
Hello, today and now I will show you another 3D model from the "Large set of barware". The model is called "Ice Cream Glass" used most often for ice cream, but it is also used for fruit, jam and candy.History
According to a first legend, the shape of Marie Antoinette's chest was the basis for the exquisite champagne glass, the crémant, also known as champagne, also known as (coupe de champagne). King Louis XVI is said to have adored his wife so much that he even wanted to drink champagne from her mould - it was not for nothing that she married him at the age of 14! It was said that the champagne was quite consistent with the size of the queen's left breast.
According to the second legend, Marie Antoinette's great passion was champagne, which was always at court. For the tasting, the queen wished for a bespoke glass that was as voluminous and low as possible. She chose her left breast as the shape, from which the mold was made. The product turned out very impressive and champagne looked very beautiful in it, that is why at that time they made pyramids from such glasses if the kingdom had a reception.
Of course, such a flat and wide glass is not quite suitable for champagne - sparkling bubbles leave the drink too quickly because of its large surface. Narrow glasses like the flute or the tulip retain their perlage (carbon dioxide bubbles) for longer. The history of the glass is therefore divided into two branches: 1) Saucer Glass - This is a champagne glass with a high stem, of which even today the pyramid is formed at celebrations and such a model will be published by me later, but in a new popular shape rather than the shape of Marie Antoinette's breasts.
2) Ice Cream Glass - This is an ice cream glass, it retains the shape of Marie Antoinette's breasts, but its stem is lower and more massive. This particular model is the one I will publish now.
The ice cream glass has other names: coupe de champagne, coupe, saucer, glass of antoinette, cremant, glass of champagne.
