Description

👤 Head

A distinct, cone-shaped helm anchors the top of the silhouette, heavily resembling a cross between a medieval bascinet and a retro-futuristic drill bit. Crafted from thick, heavily weathered iron plates, the helmet features a singular, dark horizontal visor slit cutting across the center. The design completely omits organic eyes or a mouth, presenting a cold, unyielding mechanical face that transitions down into a massive, riveted circular collar ring.

🛡️ Body Structure

  • Torso: A colossal, heavily armored chest plate forged from thick boiler plating and reinforced steel bands. The upper breastplate is dotted with exposed industrial rivets, while a small, slatted ventilation grate rests over the left side of the chest. Below the armored plating, the abdominal wall is completely exposed, revealing a beautifully detailed, complex core of interlocking clockwork gears, drive chains, and hydraulic pistons that drive the machine's movement.

  • Arms: Massive, hyper-bulked upper limbs designed for devastating physical impact. The shoulders are guarded by rounded, multi-layered pauldrons housing heavy mechanical cogs at the joints. The forearms are encased in thick, gauntlet-like iron cuffs bound with structural chains. The hands terminate in immense, five-fingered mechanical claws with segmented metallic joints, built for crushing solid obstacles.

  • Legs: Pillar-like, heavy-duty legs engineered to support the automaton's massive weight. The thighs and shins are encased in thick, contoured iron plating featuring prominent round bolt-caps at the knee joints. A tattered, oil-stained dark loincloth drapes between the hips, adding a worn, battle-tested texture before the armor cascades down to blocky, reinforced industrial boots.

  • Back: The upper back is dominated by a heavy mechanical backpack housing internal steam boilers. Sprouting upward from behind the shoulders is a cluster of vertical factory exhaust pipes and chimneys, giving the character the imposing silhouette of a walking industrial facility.

✨ Material and Finish

The entity is constructed from a dark, monochromatic palette of oil-slicked cast iron, tarnished steel, and blackened bronze. The metal surfaces possess a highly detailed, rough, and deeply weathered texture—pitted with soot, light rust scaling, and heavy grease grime. Deep, absolute shadows pool within the hollow recesses of the exposed clockwork midsection, making the polished edges of the spinning gears stand out as a striking, dynamic focal point.

(Make sure to check if there are any problems with the manifold edges. Most 3D printing apps will have an option to auto-fix them, but it's also preferable to load them in a viewer for additional checks.
Depending on the format used there may be a few leftover non-printable polygons, but they generally don't interfere with the main model when removed, although depending on the removal method it might discard the model's texture in order to fix it.
The model has an extent between -1 and 1; you can customize its size and modify it freely. You can also reduce or increase the polygon count alongside the vertices using any app based on your specific needs.
The model doesn't contain any pre-baked or built-in support structures, so it will require manual or automated support generating with the help of slicing software in order to print correctly.
The colors may turn out a bit different from the original ones seen in the images, depending on the printer used and how it's printed.
The polygon count can be a bit more or less than the described amount depending on where it's loaded for viewing and what file will be used for the printer.
The zip contains STL, 3MF, OBJ, BLEND, FBX, file formats.
The 3mf has the most accurate interpretation of the base model and is preferable when printing.)
