Description

following the deployment of the ss-4 sandel to cuba which caused the 1962 cuban missile crisis, the ss-5 skean was blockaded by the us from coming near cuba. also known as the r-14 chusovaya and 8k65, this medium range, liquid fuel missile was a follow up development of the r-12 and could carry a megaton nuclear warhead at an approximate range of 3700km. two variants were produced to either be launched by ground launcher or silo.
