Description

i release a 3d file printable with any printer, even small dimensions, of a modular face shield. the device is composed by 4 parts: visor holder, upright anchor, right upright and left upright.

this device can contain protective visors of thicknesses between 0.6-2.0 mm, not present in this printable file. as a possible visor, we recommend using transparent acetate covers for binding the sheets, the dimensions of the face shield use the insertion of classic sheets up to a4.
the assembly of the parts is very simple and intuitive, moreover the hooks serve an ease the joint but a high resistance to stress in all directions. the spring effect given to the two uprights provides a stable seal for the different head sizes.

compared to other face protection devices:

1) the support structure provided by greater stability of the visor, both during vertical movements and with sudden accelerations, and during horizontal movements;

2) the pressure zone for the support is positioned in the back of the head, giving greater comfort in prolonged use;

3) being made up of several parts, it is possible to print this modular device in small printers.

it is possible to print the device with any material, in particular pla is recommended, biodegradable, non-toxic, which does not irritate the skin
