Ricochet Rabbit was a sheriff in the Old West. Its name came from the fact that it ran at high speed (you could only see a blur), ricocheting off objects. When he ran he said "Bing-Bing-Bing! Ricochet Rabbit". His partner was Bláu-Bláu, a coyote who wore a crumpled hat across his head, characteristic of clumsy sidekicks in 1940s western films. Despite being brave, Bláu-Bláu was slow and unlucky, never managing to help his fellow sheriff. One of the gags was when he took out his revolver and it fell apart.

In addition to his speed, the Ricochet Rabbit had as a secret weapon, special bullets that always surprised the villains.
