Description
👤 Head
A menacing, predatory canine skull shapes the aggressive head, bearing the distinct, high-cheeked structure of a hyena. The face is fixed in a perpetual, snarling grimace, pulling back to expose rows of jagged, needle-sharp teeth and a long, stringy beard of petrified moss or stone fibers dripping from the chin. Large, alert, triangular ears point upward, flanking a dense, spiky ridge of crystalline stone shards that crown the forehead.
🛡️ Body Structure
Torso: A lean, muscular, quadrupedal torso built for explosive agility and predatory speed. The entire flank and chest are covered in interlocking, plate-like segments of cracked stone that mimic tightly coiled animal muscle. Sprouting from the shoulder blades are two small, vestigial, gargoyle-like leathery wings that curve backward, adding a demonic, underworld silhouette to its canine frame.
Spine & Mane: Running from the crown of the head, down the spine, and terminating at the tail is a thick, Mohawk-like mane of sharp, fractured stone needles. This jagged ridge gives the creature a permanently threatened, high-backed posture, visually communicating its defensive toughness.
Limbs & Paws: Four powerful, elongated legs support its hunting stance, wrapped in the same fractured, chert-like armor. The legs taper down into abnormally large, wide paws armed with five exceptionally long, curved, needle-sharp talons built for ripping through stone or flesh alike. A thin, frayed stone tail trails loosely behind its hindquarters.
✨ Material and Finish
The entity is rendered in a monochromatic, desaturated sandstone, tan, and ash-gray palette. The surface finish is aggressively matte, dry, and mineral-based, flawlessly capturing the tactile grit of ancient sedimentary rock. High-contrast, deep shadows nestle heavily inside the clean body cracks, the open snarling jaw, and the spaces between its spinal spikes, making it look like a subterranean fossil that has broken free from its mountain tomb.
(Make sure to check for any problems with the main model before printing. Most 3D printing apps will have an option to auto-fix them, if there are any, but it's also preferable to load it in a viewer or an app like blender for additional checks.
Depending on the format used there may be a few leftover non-printable polygons, but they generally don't interfere with the main model when removed, although some removal methods might discard the model's texture in order to fix it.
The thickness of the walls in the model can be adjusted automatically using a slicing or editing software if required by the printer and the chosen method.
The model has an extent between -1 and 1; you can customize its size and modify it freely. You can also reduce or increase the polygon count alongside the vertices using any app based on your specific needs.
The model doesn't contain any pre-baked or built-in support structures, so it will require manual or automated support generating with the help of slicing software in order to print correctly.
The colors may turn out a bit different from the original ones seen in the images, depending on the printer used and how it's printed.
The polygon count can be a bit more or less than the described amount depending on where it's loaded for viewing and what file will be used for the printer.
If you want to use the model in a game and animate it or modify it, you would first have to convert the topology from triangular to squared for easier editing.
The texture of the model is 8K, featuring metallic, roughness and normal PBR maps in addition to the base colors.
The zip contains STL, 3MF, OBJ, BLEND, FBX, file formats.
The 3mf has the most accurate interpretation of the base model and is preferable when printing.)
