Description
👤 Head
A highly sophisticated, gothic knight helm shapes the commanding head with defensive steel. The face is defined by a prominent, down-turned beak-like visor (rostrum) featuring multiple vertical ventilation slits along the jawline. Crowned aggressively atop the helm is a sharp, segmented ridge of vertical iron spikes, throwing an imposing, regal silhouette that completely masks all human traits.
🛡️ Body Structure
Torso & Garb: A powerful, broad-shouldered bipedal frame encased entirely in a heavy suit of intricately layered, weathered plate armor. The curved chest piece features a prominent, debossed engraving of a bird-of-prey skull dead center. Sprouting from the collarbones and spilling down the back is a massive, shaggy mantle of matted, tattered wool and frayed fabric fibers (floccose shroud), anchored at the shoulders by two small, bleached mammalian skulls.
Arms & Weapon: Two thick, heavily armored arms extend from segmented, overlapping pauldrons. The armor plates run down to the hands in dense, articulated steel gauntlets. The right hand firmly grips the crossguard of a massive, heavy iron broadsword or executioner's blade that rests point-down against the ground, projecting a calm, unyielding martial discipline.
Lower Body & Legs: Beneath a heavy leather utility belt holding gear pouches, a long, shredded chainmail skirt and tattered linen tassets drape past the knees like a rotting battle standard. The entity stands tall in a stable, upright stance on two heavily armored legs protected by fluted greaves and knee-guards. The anatomy tapers down to pointed, segmented iron sabatons designed to firmly anchor its weight into stone fortress ramparts.
✨ Material and Finish
The entity is rendered in a deeply monochromatic, desaturated ash-gray, charcoal, and dark bronze palette. The surface finish shifts brilliantly between the rough, light-absorbing matte grit of the tattered wool cloak, the coarse grain of the rusted chainmail, and the weathered, micro-scratched sheen of the ancient iron plate armor. High-contrast, absolute shadows pool deeply beneath the heavy helm visor, inside the debossed chest carvings, and within the layered folds of the ragged waist fabrics, making the avian commander look like a living monument of an endless siege.
(Make sure to check for any problems with the main model before printing. Most 3D printing apps will have an option to auto-fix them, if there are any, but it's also preferable to load it in a viewer or an app like blender for additional checks.
Depending on the format used there may be a few leftover non-printable polygons, but they generally don't interfere with the main model when removed, although some removal methods might discard the model's texture in order to fix it.
The thickness of the walls in the model can be adjusted automatically using a slicing or editing software if required by the printer and the chosen method.
The model has an extent between -1 and 1; you can customize its size and modify it freely. You can also reduce or increase the polygon count alongside the vertices using any app based on your specific needs.
The model doesn't contain any pre-baked or built-in support structures, so it will require manual or automated support generating with the help of slicing software in order to print correctly.
The colors may turn out a bit different from the original ones seen in the images, depending on the printer used and how it's printed.
The polygon count can be a bit more or less than the described amount depending on where it's loaded for viewing and what file will be used for the printer.
If you want to use the model in a game and animate it or modify it, you would first have to convert the topology from triangular to squared for easier editing.
The texture of the model is 8K, featuring metallic, roughness and normal PBR maps in addition to the base colors.
The zip contains STL, 3MF, OBJ, BLEND, FBX, file formats.
The 3mf has the most accurate interpretation of the base model and is preferable when printing.)
